Non-Religious Funerals

Non-Religious Funerals

Non-religious funerals focus on the life of your loved one, their family, friends and connections, the impact they made and how they chose to live. They are a fitting way to say goodbye to a loved one who has lived without religion and can be held in a variety of places including village halls, family homes, crematoria, cemeteries and woodland burial grounds. We have also arranged services in hotels without the coffin.

Funeral celebrants who specialise in this type of ceremony are experienced in ensuring that a service is fitting for the circumstances and as a way of saying goodbye to your loved one.  We work with a number of excellent celebrants, and will be able to help you choose someone who can help encapsulate your loved one’s personality and life.

The format of a non-religious funeral is at your discretion and can include music, poetry, readings, shared memories or whatever you feel is appropriate.

In some cases family members of friends may conduct part or all of the ceremony. Should that be the case we can be on hand to offer advice and guidance before, during and after the day of the funeral.
